Lochearnhead Scout Station

Hi Guys

Firstly apologies for the short notice of this camp (i was under the impression that you were all given full details of the camp a couple of weeks ago! My Bad.

So here's the details of camp in short

Location Lochearnhead Scout Station (INDOORS)

Date 5-7 November 2010
Departing-Scout Hall Friday 18:30
Returning-Scout Hall Sunday 16:00/16:30
(As always if there is any delay with traffic etc. we'll let your parents know.)
Cost Total £47 (including your deposit money)

As well as your standard kit list I'll expect full Uniforms! Any questions about kit list please just ask.

If you have one please bring a bike with you. If you need a loan of a bike or have a spare please let Stewart know on Friday.

Explorer Activity Badges

Hey All

Ive had a wee look at the Explorer Scout Activity Badges. The only Activity Badges that can be transferred from your old Scout Shirt to your Explorer Shirt are the "Staged Activity Badges" shown bellow:-



Remember Guys if there are any Badges that you want to do individually or as a group don't hesitate to let me know.

Back to the Future......Again

Hi Guys

Sorry about the short notice but the info on the cinema times etc was only made available late last night!

As planned we are going to see Back to the Future this Friday (1ST October). We will be meeting @ the Scout Hall @ 07:30.

Cost of Film will be £5.20 each - plus any additional money you want for sweets/drinks.

The film doesn't start till 8:30 so it'll be about 10:30/11:00 return time to the hall.

As always (Tunes) please pass this onto anyone who might not get this.

No Explorers Next Week !

Hi Guys

Please note there will be no Explorers next week 20/08/2010!

However as we talked about last Friday we'll be trying to get round various attractions in Xscape such as BOWLPLEX, FANDROP, LASER STATION, PARADISE ISLAND ADVENTURE GOLF, ROCK CLIMBING, SKYPARK & THE SNO!ZONE!

Keep your eyes on the Blog for further updates as we'll be having a outing to one of the above on the 27/08/2010.

Additionally if anyone hasn't return there essential information form - please bring it along on the 27/08/2010.

Explorers Summer Break & Etive Camp

Hi Guys

As most of you will know am going climbing in the Alps for the next couple of weeks including ascent of Pollux (4098m) by NW Ridge, Traverse of Alphubel (4208m) via SE Ridge, and also a Traverse of Mont Blanc - so there will be no Explorers (though feel free to meet up amongst yourself).

Explorers will start back on the 30 August 2010.

I have posted you all out a letter with details of the forthcoming camp to Glen Etive(07/08/10-08/08/10)along with a permission slip.

BBQ this Friday

Hi All


For the BBQ this Friday we will be meeting @ the Scout Hall @ 6:30 sharp. From their we’ll be heading to Balmaha so if your parents are available to lend a hand with transport or just fancy a wee burger feel free to bring em’ along!

Painting The Den

Hey Guys

Remember we will be painting the Den tomorrow night, so no need for uniforms just WEAR OLD CLOTHES (that you don't mind getting covered in paint).
